The Name of THE LORD JESUS is a strong tower.

Scriptures that prove that GOD honors HIS OWN WORD, and HIS own people, and obedience to HIM and trust:

"Thus saith THE LORD [GOD]. .  The Word which I have spoken, shall be done." Ezekiel 12:28

"Let them praise The Name of THE LORD; for HE commanded and they were created." Psalms 148:5

"He that followeth after righteousness, and mercy, findeth life, righteousness and honor." Proverbs 21:21

"And GOD spake all these words saying , " I AM THE LORD thy GOD, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, thou shalt have no other gods before ME. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of any thing, that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I THE LORD thy GOD, AM a Jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate ME, and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love ME. " Exodus 20:1-6

GOD told King David, "because he hath set his love upon ME, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high because he hath known MY NAME. He shall call upon ME and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him MY Salvation." Psalms 91:14-16 {Remember that there is a Scripture that says that GOD is not a respector of persons, whatever HE did for King David, or Abraham, or anyone, HE will do for anyone else who loves GOD and obeys HIM and honors HIM." }

Now THE LORD saith, 'be it far from ME; for them that honour ME, I will honour,and they that despise ME, shall be lightly esteemed. " I Samuel 2: 30c

King David asked GOD: "when I consider the heavens, the work of THY fingers; the moon and the stars, which THOU hast ordained, what is man, that THOU  art mindful of him? and The Son of man, [what JESUS called HIMSELF] that THOU visitest him? For THOU hast made him a little lower than the Angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. THOU madest him to have dominion over the works of THY Hands; THOU hast put all things under his feet; all sheep, and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; the fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the sea. O LORD our LORD, how excellent is THY NAME in all the earth."Psalms 8:3-9

"For THE LORD taketh pleasure in HIS people; HE will beautify the meek* with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of GOD be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them The Judgement  written; this honour have all  HIS saints. Praise ye THE LORD.' Psalms 149: 4-9

* The word "meek' is defined in the Winston's English Dictionary as "gentle, mild of temper, patient, easily imposed upon, unresenting, modest, piously humble, unassuming, long-suffering".

JESUS said, "if any man serve ME, let him follow ME; and where I AM there shall also MY servant be; if any man serve ME, him will MY FATHER honour." John 12: 26

"Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour; especially they who labour in The Word and Doctrine." I Timothy 5: 17

"Nevertheless, the foundation of THE LORD standeth sure, having this seal: 'THE LORD Knoweth them that are HIS'. And let everyone that nameth The Name of Christ depart from iniquity." II Timothy 2: 19

"LORD, who shall abide in THY Tabernacle? Who shall dwell in THY Holy Hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart? He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbor, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor? In whose eyes a vile person is contemned, but he honoreth them that fear THE LORD? He that sweareth to his own hurt and changeth not?{ keeps his promises} ? He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent? [the answer?] He that doeth these things shall never be moved. " Psalms 15
